A Letter To my Lord

 Dear Lord, 


Although I know that there is no need for a physical manifestation of my thoughts; to be collected on a piece of paper like this one; to let you know about what is on my mind (As it is only you who stay on mind all the time, in some way or the other), I am writing this letter as a reminder to myself about how important you are in my life. 

 

I have no idea whatsoever about how you pull the right strings (Thou art the puppeteer of the cosmos!) every single time and bring us under your caring fold. You always know what is right for us (even if at times we find it misfortunate) and keep us protected, come what may! Therefore it is perfectly right when you say to 'love your uncertainty,  for it is never a mistake'. You teach us how to offer, make ourselves offer it, sweeten it with your Divine Love and confer the sweeter Blessings on us. How sweet of you, Oh Lord! 


I neither can nor would try to comprehend the reason why you constantly stay by my side,  even at my worst behavior. All I can do is stare at your Divine Form with awe, bow down at your lotus feet in sheer gratitude for making me your instrument in use and pray for the strength so that I can strive to become a better version of myself, of which you would be proud of.  Nothing more, nothing less.

The Choice factor

  That brisk strut with billowing robes behind. That almost sneering smirk under his hooked nose. That voice lashes out at people in the most subtle way possible. That is Severus Tobias Snape, Potion Master at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizarding, the dour ’bat’ of the dungeons. But my hero-worship for this misunderstood man has made me reflect on one of the important lessons for life-The Choice Factor. Although Snape's passion for the Dark Arts and the Dark Mark on his arm, along with his air of intimidation and sharp tongue attributes to his 'villain' aura, the choices that he made speak differently about his true character. The choices that he made say it all. It is not so surprising how similarly Snape and Voldemort are portrayed throughout the series.
